After some acoustic shows he started to look for a band. Zach decided on one last acoustic show before solely focusing on full group shows. That show ended up being a show at Trees opening for Danny Worsnop from Asking Alexandria. What a way to go out. After that show Zach worked hard finding new musicians. After some time and some help from some friends, he finally settled on a group. Those members were Kassy Flores on Bass, Tommy Murphy on Lead Guitar, and Adam Bryan on Drums. After only the first practice they were already writing new material. It’s like it was meant to be. TodayChaser will be coming to a venue near you very soon and is working hard to get there. Things are sounding great and we are excited about showing people material.
It all started back in 2017 when Zach Fuentes founded TodayChaser. Zach was a drummer before that for 6 years playing with another band and playing with all kinds of big names such as Disturbed, Megadeth, Godsmack, and Bowling for Soup just to name a few.
When things started to slow down and the shows weren’t as abundant anymore, Zach decided to take a new approach to his music career. He decided to pick up the guitar and start writing songs. He knew nothing about playing the guitar and figured if he can teach himself the drums, he can teach himself anything. So he went for it and started writing a few songs which turned into a few more until he had an album worth of music. Knowing drums, piano, guitar, and a little bit of bass he decided to work on the first album alone. With the help of Bryan David from Anthem Recording, he embarked on his first album. Bryan was tremendous help in the studio doing most of the lead guitar parts and a lot of the bass. Zach filled in on the rest. After finishing most of the album and releasing a few songs, he figured it was time to start playing shows to see some reactions.
